Our Shepherds’ Huts are fully equipped for the perfect “Hardy Countryside“ getaway and for those who still need to stay in touch with the internet world there is good free Wifi. Situated in a semi woodland environment, with long views to the west horizon, you can relax and watch the sunset by the log fire, (winter or summer!). We have some of the finest walks in the heart of Dorset... right on hand, including the famous Wessex Ridgeway and why they terminate at a cosy Dorset pub is a “Hardy” mystery! A list of these in a footpath guide book is available on arrival. You can engage with the birds and wildlife within the vicinity of the farm and our stocked ponds will relax the fishing fraternity with the air of peace and quiet. By bicycle or car, you can tour your way to the Jurassic coast or around the Arne Peninsular within 20-40 minutes. Paddle boarding and boating available on request (customer needs to supply own board).
"MISTOVER & WEATHERBURY" The king size bed is 6’6” x 5’ with storage. There is a mini kitchen with microwave, combi fridge with small freezer compartment, hob and wash basin, hot and cold water plus radio, log burner, picnic table and outside fire grate. "Laurie" Converted horse box with balcony. The Kingsize bed of 6'6" by 5" and there is also 2 single beds with storage. There is a kitchen with a microwave, hob, refrigerator and wash basin , hot and cold water plus radio, dining table and chairs and log burner, picnic table and outside fire grate. Includes free WiFi. "GABRIEL OAK" - 12' x 7' + balcony. the bed is 6' x 4'6". There is a mini-kitchen with microwave, fridge and wash basin, hot and cold water plus radio, wardrobe and log burner, balcony, picnic table and outside fire grate. £80.00 per night for 2 persons (Minimum 2 nights)
Please Note:
Dogs are welcome on the site, however they are not allowed inside the shepherds huts and they need to be housed in a kennel and leashed around the farmyard and campsite field.
Everything is provided. You only need to bring clothes and food (& wellies!).
Fishing day tickets available on request.
Arrival time is after 3pm and departure before 11:00am.
There is a small W.C. adjacent to the shepherds’ huts In the telephone box.
