Dorset is famous for its apples and orchards. Many of the old orchards have disappeared perhaps due to competition from abroad where apples are grown in an easier economic and natural climate.
At Moonfleet Farm, we produce our own cider fermented from the apples gathered from our own orchard and that of our own orchards, the tastes are therefore varied. Made from traditional varieties of cider apples this craft made cider is fermented for twelve months and over the winter. The finished cider s bottled for distribution the following summer.
