“It was absolutely beautiful and although it was cold outside (April) the beds were so warm and comfy! The children absolutely loved being on the farm and the views were stunning. Just wish I had booked an extra night!”
"Loved our stay in the shepherd hut. Boys have renamed it boggis’s chicken hut no1! We all loved it. Grt day at Milton Abbey too. Thank you.” "Really cosy little hut, plenty of pots and pans, beds comfy, log burner is well stocked and keeps the hut toasty. Showers and toilets as described are a short walk (about 50m) away and are really quite nice. Site includes two other huts and a smallish campsite behind a hedge. Overall a really nice place to stay!” "Cowslip Corner is outstanding; The Cottage/House is truly amazing with modern home from home comforts. The owners are friendly and welcoming as are their 3 resident dogs whom are also very friendly. We had a wonderful time exploring walks and taking our dogs to run around and roam the farm and surrounding fields. Lucky for us there were no live stock in the fields so it was a fantastic free space. The local pub is 10 mins walk as well as local shop. Would highly recommend." |
"Lovely property in a remote but beautiful area. Our hosts were charming and helpful and the property was exactly as billed. Loved seeing the farm dogs and chickens in the morning."
Our stay at Mistover was lovely and relaxing. The hut was very clean with a king sized bed, all the kitchen equipment we needed and wood already in the indoor wood burner. There is a busy campsite at the top of the field, but Mistover is at the bottom of the site facing onto empty fields, so it felt very private. We watched some amazing sunsets! We were also visited every day by the farm ducks and spent some time petting Linda's horses in the next door field. Linda and Clive were great, unobtrusive hosts, and gave us info about local area. We would definitely stay again.” |
